K-Groups
One very important component of life at Fellowship Church of Arkadelphia is our small group ministries that meet in various members’ homes. We call them K-Groups. This comes from the biblical word for “fellowship” (Koinonia) as expressed in Acts 2:42 which describes the dynamic life of the first Christians, “And they devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” It is our desire that our home groups will be modeled after the “Koinonia” of the early church as described in these beginning chapters of the bible’s book of Acts.
These groups meet weekly during the Fall and Spring to do exactly what the first Christians were doing – be devoted to the word of God (through Bible study), be devoted to fellowship (sharing life together), be devoted to the breaking of bread (meals and the Lord’s Supper), and be devoted to prayer (for the church and one another). Our K-Groups become your extended family and those who are part of them cherish each relationship that is cultivated.
So, why not connect with a Fellowship Church K-Group? We want you to come just as you are. There are no prerequisites. We truly would consider it a great privilege to join you in your spiritual journey and together discover and experience God. You can visit a group that meets near your home or contact us via e-mail jacksons@obu.edu or phone (870-403-8283).
